Hello, everyone! We have exciting updates regarding the structure and proceedings of our Union to make it more informative and engaging. We've recently introduced a new system, designed to enhance the experience of both our online and hybrid internal meetings.

Recognising that early start times may not be ideal for some of our members, we are actively exploring ways to accommodate your schedules. Our primary goal is to enable as many of you as possible to participate and stay informed about our Union's activities.

As promised during our previous gathering (our first of the year), we're here to address some of the questions you raised that couldn't be answered immediately. Here are the responses to your inquiries:

1. Can sport for fun ambassadors be involved in event planning? Absolutely!

2. Why is the Union Café only open until 4 pm? Can this be reconsidered for those who wish to dine after 4? Our CEO is currently discussing this matter with the University senior team to gather feedback. We will keep you updated on any developments in this regard. The decision to adjust the closing time depends on funding and feasibility.

3. Can we expect a broader selection of non-alcoholic/low-alcohol drinks, like alcohol-free ciders, in the future? We are actively exploring the possibility of expanding our beverage options to include alcohol-free ciders and other similar choices. This decision will be influenced by supply and demand, but we are committed to providing more alcohol-free alternatives.

Our next Union Council meeting is just around the corner, scheduled for Thursday, November 2, starting at 5 pm. While we are still sorting the agenda, you can anticipate our usual segments, including the "Question of the Month," engaging discussions or guest speakers, and the Elected Officer hot seat. We look forward to seeing you there.
