What is well-being?

Well-being is defined as a sense of health and vitality that arises from your thoughts, emotions, actions, and experiences. When we have well-being, we feel happy, healthy, socially connected, and purposeful most of the time. We can improve our well-being by building a certain set of skills.

There is a plethora of data to show that dogs are great for positively impacting our well-being. You can read more about how dogs can improve health and wellbeing here. As such, we have employed Frank, a miniature Dachshund, as a wellbeing officer. Frank will be in the office every Tuesday, from 9am to 5pm, to meet students and dish out his own brand of well-being support. ??

How can Frank help?

Frank will be available for cuddles, kisses, fusses, walkies, playing games and other such fun doggo and human activities. Please feel free to book in for a slot with Frank who we are certain will be overjoyed to see you. He may even be wearing one of his fancy seasonal outfits especially for the occasion.
